Camping Weekend

This weekend we packed the pup and went hiking, canoeing, and camping. A last outdoor getaway before the weather cools. And almost three full days with no internet or cell phone service. Both strangely isolating and wonderful at the same time. It will take me a little while to catch up on emails, phone calls, blog posts, and comments now that I’m back. First though –  a car load of camping equipment that needs unpacking and a bunch of laundry and dishes needing to be cleaned.

How did you spend the long weekend? Hope your long weekend has been a fabulous one as well!

That campsite is gorgeous! I might be much more inclined to go camping if there were such beautiful locations near us :)

It’s been an extremely nice weekend weather-wise for us, so a lot of food, fun, and relaxing. We went to the Dragon*Con parade, checked out a book festival, and hiked at a park near our house.

Gorgeous photos! This makes me really wish I’d gone camping this weekend. Instead I mostly did nothing, which can be good sometimes :)
