Bikes in Olympiapark

Dear Berlin residents, or readers familiar with Berlin…

Adrienne of Change your Life, Ride a Bike just wrote about her friend, who recently moved to Berlin and is looking for a good used bike there. He has no idea how to go about finding one and is looking for some tips and suggestions from anyone familiar with the bike scene there. If you’re able to help a guy out, just hop on over to Change you Life, Ride a Bike and leave a comment directly there, or leave your suggestion in the comments of this post and I will pass them on. Vielen Dank!

S.

This might be something. The link takes you to an auction that just passed, but they do it every month or so, I think. Just search “versteigerung” on the s-bahn website….?

In Germany in general most bike shops also sell used bikes. You might also want to look at the local Schwarzes Brett at your university, that is if you are a student. With police auctions, it’s first come first served, so be quick ;-) Berlin is a wonderful city to live in, I hope you have fun there. If you need any other Germany-related advise/tipps feel free to mail me.
