Cat on a hot car roof

Cat on a hot car roof

Louie (above) demonstrating what happens when you ride a bike more than you drive your car… that car becomes the perfect ‘cat bed’ in the shade on hot and sunny days. It’s been Louie’s favorite hang-out all week.

Indie (below) demonstrating her excitement at having her first lake swim of the season. Many more of those to come.

What were your highlights this week? And happy weekend! ♥

Your cat most have the largest and most expensive cat bed in the whole town. And Indie sure looks like she’s enjoying herself. I haven’t firmed up my weekend plans, but they should involve some interesting cycling.

I love your beautiful cat – I think I’ve said before that I used to have a similar-looking one. (He was called Fizzgig, from the Dark Crystal movie.)

My sis has a cat identical to Louie, whose name is Bacon. He’s a sweetie who also enjoys the shade, but mostly the A/C. Reggie (our dog) hates the water. Indie has the right idea in this heat!
I’d love to see how you’re going to handle animals and baby meeting and sharing a home. We Cajuns have a few tricks for that, and I’ll share if you’d like!

haha, we had a cat that would make our vw bug a cat bed too! he was so silly but our neighbors moved so we no longer have him lingering around the house :( i see it as a good healthy sign that we don’t use the car but the dust now is that indicator!
